Context

The ‘IT op Koers’ program at SVB aims to make IT services more adaptable, with key objectives including continuity, manageability, security, and transparency. Enhancing organizational effectiveness is crucial for SVB to fulfill its public mandate within established frameworks. Due to the complexity and importance of the program’s success, SVB asked QA Consulting to provide quality assurance. QA Consulting offered both solicited and unsolicited advice through risk analyses and various assessments.

Approach

QA Consulting conducted a baseline measurement followed by multiple assessments, providing an integrated evaluation of both program management and content development. The assessments were based on a standards framework using the cloverleaf model, which covers Management & Organization, Processes & Procedures, People & Culture, and Tools & Technology. This approach examined coherence, the realism of planning, stakeholder support, risk management, and concrete ‘definitions of done.’

Result

QA Consulting contributed to a more realistic and robust program foundation for a future-proof and adaptable IT organization, delivering essential insights to move from theoretical plans to actionable steps.
